Pagina: 1 |  | | |  Rimuovere vecchi kernel Ubuntu | | Quando accendiamo il nostro pc e da GRUB 2, scegliamo quale sistema vogliamo far partire, notiamo la presenza di una lista di vecchi kernel non rimossi.
I suddetti kernel non vengono cancellati per sicurezza. Inoltre, dopo diversi aggiornamenti, la lista potrebbe contenere numerose voci che occupano tutta la schermata del grub.
Quando siamo sicuri che la rimozione non può causare danni tramite il Gestore di pacchetti cerchiamo linux-headers e tra i risultati mostrati ci saranno tutte le vostre versioni dei kernel installati.
Per rimuoverli (fate ben attenzione alle versioni che volete cancellare) clicchiamo sulla checkbox e dal menu che appare selezionate Rimuovi Completamente.
Questa semplice procedura non solo vi ripulirà il GRUB ma vi libererà anche spazio sull'hard disk.

FW Editor: What are your plans or objectives in the near future?
Aurelio De Rosa: I'm creating, in collaboration with another programmer, a software for the "next" Windows 7 Phone and I'm advertising another software of mine, released a few days ago called "Anemolif". This is a program which is useful to manage the university marks and it has been developed in accordance with the current Italian university criteria (country where I was born and where I currently live). With my group, the Audero team, created with Annarita Tranfici and which is composed by Giuseppe Adaldo and Mirko Cesaro too, we are extending our site (www.audero.it) with features and new softwares: some of them have alrealdy been released, the others will be published shortly.
FW Editor: How and when did you start writing the code for Site Seeker? What inspired you the most?
Aurelio De Rosa: I believe that the best and most successful softwares, alway start for a real need. In this case, my parents have a small company and I developed their website. As every expert and qualified webmaster does, I try to analyze the results of the SERP in order to evaluate better strategies able to improve positions for the keywords of interest. So, Site Seeker was born as a project to help me and my parents in doing automatically tedious manual searches which generally make waste a lot of time. For people who work, as you know, time is money.
FW Editor: Site Seeker is still a new application. Do you plan to improve in the future? If yes, how are you going to do that?
Aurelio De Rosa: I may say that I'm working on the next version of Site Seeker which will bring new useful innovations for anyone who is engaged in SEO. At the moment I do not explain these innovations but I am sure that they will be appreciated.
FW Editor: What are the advantages of using Site Seeker over any other similar product?
Aurelio De Rosa: I think that currently there is no other software with the same potential and the same functions of Site Seeker. Surfing the Web I found similar softwares but there is nothing as complete as mine, especially for the new features which will be introduced in the next version.
FW Editor: Can you tell us more about some of the Site Seeker features? What is the most important feature and why?
Aurelio De Rosa: The most important function is to research the location of your site within the SERPs. The saved time is remarkable and anyone who does SEO activities will surely benefit from its use.
FW Editor: What is your favorite feature of Site Seeker?
Aurelio De Rosa: The answer is the same of question 5. Since I finished the software, I have been saving a lot of time and the new features I am introducing now will make Site Seeker an essential tool for all webmasters.
FW Editor: How would you define Site Seeker in just a few words?
Aurelio De Rosa: The most complete software for the analysis of the SERP, which is essential for webmasters.
FW Editor: Is there any message you would like to send to Site Seeker users?
Aurelio De Rosa: I'm waiting for your suggestions to improve and make my product grow.

Aurelio De Rosa: A livello personale sto realizzando, in collaborazione con un altro programmatore, un software per il "prossimo" Windows Phone 7 e sto pubblicizzando un mio software, rilasciato pochi giorni fa chiamato Anemolif. Quest'ultimo è un programma per la gestione dei voti universitari sviluppato secondo gli attuali criteri dell'università italiana (paese dove sono nato e dove attualmente vivo). Con il mio gruppo, l'Audero team, fondato insieme ad Annarita Tranfici e che attualmente è composto anche da Giuseppe Adaldo e Mirko Cesaro, sto ampliando il nostro sito (www.audero.it) con nuove funzionalità e nuovi software alcuni che sono già stati rilasciati, altri che verranno pubblicati a breve.
FW Editor: Come e quando hai iniziato a scrivere il codice per Site Seeker? Cosa ti ha ispirato maggiormente?
Aurelio De Rosa: Sono convinto che i migliori programmi, quelli più riusciuti, nascano sempre da una esigenza concreta. Nella fattispecie, i miei genitori hanno una piccola società ed io, con Annarita Tranfici in veste di grafico, ho sviluppato loro il sito web. Come qualsiasi webmaster che si rispetti cerco di analizzare l'andamento dei risultati delle SERP così da valutare strategie che possano portare al miglioramento delle posizioni per le chiavi di ricerca di interesse. Site Seeker, quindi, nasce come progetto per aiutare me ed i miei genitori nel compiere in modo automatico noiose ricerche manuali che fanno perdere moltissimo tempo. Per chi lavora, come è noto, il tempo è denaro.
FW Editor: Site Seeker è una nuova applicazione. Hai intenzione di migliorarlo in futuro? Se sì, cosa pensi di fare?
Aurelio De Rosa: Sin da ora posso dire che sto lavorando alla prossima versione di Site Seeker che porterà diverse novità utilissime per chi, come me, svolge attività di SEO. Per il momento non svelo le novità che verranno introdotte ma sono certo verranno apprezzate.
FW Editor: Quali sono i vantaggi di usare Site Seeker piuttosto che altri prodotti simili?
Aurelio De Rosa: Io penso che attualmente non esista un altro software con le stesse potenzialità e le stesse funzioni di Site Seeker. In giro ho trovato software simili ma davvero non esiste nulla di così completo che possa essere paragonabile al mio, soprattutto date le nuove funzioni che verranno introdotte nella prossima versione.
FW Editor: Puoi dirci di più sulle caratteristiche di Site Seeker? Qual'è la sua funzione più importante e perché?
Aurelio De Rosa: La funzione più importante è quella della ricerca della posizione del proprio sito all'interno delle SERP. Il risparmio di tempo è davvero notevole e chiunque faccia attività di SEO non potrà non trovare giovamento dal suo utilizzo.
FW Editor: Qual'è la tua funzionalità preferita di Site Seeker?
Aurelio De Rosa: La stessa della domanda 5. Da quando ho terminato il software, il tempo che risparmio è tantissimo e le nuove funzioni che sto introducendo fanno di Site Seeker uno strumento essenziale per qualsiasi webmaster
FW Editor: Come definiresti Site Seeker in poche parole?
Aurelio De Rosa: Il più completo programma per l'analisi delle SERP, indispensabile per i webmaster.

Referred to simply as an "order authorizing a review under the Investment Canada Act of Apple Canada, Inc.?s proposed establishment of a new cultural business carried on by iBookstore in Canada," the order means that Apple's investment in Canada will be scrutinized by the government to make sure it aids "Canadian culture." The decision was noted today by Canadian law professor Michael Geist, and it relies on a section of the Investment Canada Act that allows the government to review investments for "cultural reasons."
The text of the brief order points to section 15 of the Investment Canada Act, which allows the government to review any investment, even those that would not normally be reviewable. The only stipulation is that the investment must concern "a prescribed specific type of business activity that, in the opinion of the Governor in Council, is related to Canada's cultural heritage or national identity." Given persistent Canadian concerns about being overrun with American TV shows and movies and having the country's digital music market controlled by iTunes, it's clear the government wants to take a closer look at Apple's decision to open a major new e-bookstore in Canada. Canada's Financial Post took a dim view of the decision, saying that "the government might do well to start the review process by asking the millions of iPod, iPhone and iPad owners of Canada for their views on the matter.
